A B O U T M E
I first experimented with mural-painting in my parent's house during lockdown, and fell in love with working on such a large scale. I am now in my final year of studying History of Art at the University of Cambridge, and have been growing my business during my holidays over the last five years.
Growing up with my mother working in interior design gave me a strong appreciation for the impact of decoration on home life, and introduced me to the world of design.
Painting my first mural sparked my interest in the history of the practice, leading me to discover the marvellous Bloomsbury Group murals at Charleston, as well as many beautiful frescoes in churches in the UK, Italy and beyond.
I am lucky to have begun my practice during a great revival in decorative art - murals have recently been recognised by The Times and Style, being described as 'the ultimate home brag'.
In my opinion, the advantage of murals over wallpaper is that they are entirely customised to your taste, complement your furniture and include your favoured colours or motifs. Each mural is unique, and its composition is designed to suit and enhance its specific space.
I have really enjoyed working in different spaces over the last five years, which have included bedrooms, staircases, niches, oven splash backs, outside walls, doors and loggias. Each of these murals has been designed with the clients vision in mind, to optimise the use and visual impact of these spaces.
The locations of my previous commissions include London, Oxfordshire, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire.
